objective

Execute quality services to care for the life cycle of boys, girls from 12 to 36 months, special protection and people with disabilities, with emphasis on the population in situations of poverty, extreme poverty, vulnerability and in situations or contexts of human mobility .

Goals

  1. Achieve the comprehensive development of 70 girls and boys from 12 to 36 months.

  2. Provide food and nutritional assistance to 70 boys and girls from 12 to 36 months.

  3. Strengthen the participation of the 70 families in the development of their children.

  4. Promote relationships of an intersectoral nature.

During the year 2021, 72 boys and girls aged 12 to 36 months in situations of vulnerability and extreme vulnerability benefited from the Child Development Centers project through the components: educational, curricular, food, nutritional and psycho-emotional support in virtual mode and monthly support in conjunction with their parents.

72 boys and girls aged 12 to 36 months received virtual and face-to-face pedagogical support and monthly monitoring in conjunction with their guardians or mothers due to COVID-19.  

65 families of boys and girls aged 12 to 36 months and who belonged to the CDIs received bags of food to maintain high nutritional levels of children and their family environment that were granted with the MIES, Cáritas Cuenca, Municipal Social Action and other instances public and private, as well as charitable people who support the pandemic crisis. 

65 fathers, mothers, and guardians belonging to the Child Development Centers in 2021 received periodic virtual training by educators and coordinators that made it possible for parents to guide their children in times of pandemic and post-pandemic, as well as the return to face-to-face gradually.

  

8 educators provided their support and accompaniment in a hybrid way (online education with face-to-face) to children and their families in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic to guarantee the right to education at an early age and in an equal and permanent way .

70% of the intervention actions for the operation of the CDIs in 2021 was a contribution from the MIES and 30% was carried out by the Foundation and the Committees of Parents and Families of the CDIs with their own funds and self-management, which had to be managed in the midst of the pandemic to keep the spaces and all the instruments, equipment and property in each space in good condition.
